Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PIM Sync ("the App"), a Webflow Designer Extension and optional Shopify embedded application operated by Story Story AI ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

PIM Sync synchronizes product catalog data across Shopify, Xano, and Webflow CMS. The App provides asset migration, AI-powered ALT text generation, accessibility enforcement, variant galleries, commerce widgets, tag reconciliation, and non-destructive publish to live Shopify stores.

The App operates in two modes: Standalone (Webflow extension + Xano only) or Paired (with the PIM Sync Shopify App for full three-way synchronization).

You retain ownership of all product data, images, and content you manage through the App. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

By using the App, you grant us a limited license to access, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the synchronization and management services described in Section 1. This license terminates when you uninstall the App.

AI-generated content (ALT text, auto-tags) is provided as suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before it is published to your storefront.

5. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Shopify, Xano, Cloudflare, and Webflow. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for outages, data loss, or policy changes by third-party providers.

6. Non-Destructive Operations

The App is designed to operate non-destructively. Product mutations to live Shopify stores use upsert-only operations. New products are created as drafts. Price changes require explicit merchant confirmation. The App never deletes products from Shopify.

However, we cannot guarantee that all synchronization operations will be error-free. You are responsible for reviewing changes before publishing and maintaining backups of critical product data.

7. Availability and Support

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or unforeseen issues may cause temporary disruptions.

Support is available via email. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 2 business days.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from Webflow and, if applicable, Shopify. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately. We will delete your session data within 48 hours. Product data stored in Xano can be deleted upon request. Sections 4, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will notify you through the App or via email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in San Francisco County, California.
